Golden in colour, inviting. Good fruit delivery with a little peach/apricot and lemon/lime acidity. Light initially, finished stronger, slightly bitter.

Duran 5V Gran Reserva

Pale gold with lime colour too. Good body and freshness. Good sugar/acidity balance. Long finish, quite juicy. Very pleasant.

Zlata Radgonska Penina Brut Nature 2007

Pleasantly dry on first hit with some blanched almonds and a toffee-apple reference on mid-palate. Medium length.

Pale in the glass with almonds and hazelnuts on the nose and palate, joined by lemon peel acidity. Balanced.

The Rosé

Caramel notes along with fresh raspberry and a creamy mouthfeel. Pleasantly dry with a spirited finish.

Insolitam Rosé

Rose petals on the nose, with soft red fruits. Slightly sweet with some body and medium length finish good with Asian/Chinese dishes.

Vía de la Plata Rosado

Pretty in the glass with strawberry and raspberry fruit. Quite dry with fresh acidity and a quite strong finish perfect with salmon and trout.

Dark red rose petal on the nose, light on the palate. Raspberries and a slight reference to cranberry/red currant.

Zlata Radgonska Penina Rosé

Very pale in the glass. Notable sweetness on the palate, finishes with a lick of acidity along with slightly over-ripe raspberries.

Creamy on the palate, very pale, smooth with a pale pink rose fragrance. A little patisserie note on the nose too. Fresh.

Lobban Sparkling Shiraz

Smooth mouthfeel, elegance too. Good sugar/acidity balance for its class. Charming understated sweet finish.

Ramón Canals Reserva Rosé

Quite full on first entry with raspberry and floral notes. Flavour lingers and refreshes . Good length too.
