Registration is now open for the third edition of 50 Great White Wines of the World, a prestigious biannual competition. Still white wine producers from around the globe are invited to participate and compete for a place among the top 50. You can enter as many still white wines as you like by selecting “Register Your Wine” and then proceeding to checkout.

Why enter the competition?
- Winning a gold or silver medal is a trusted way for importers to discover outstanding new white wines for their markets.
- Being included in the Top 50 provides a significant commercial advantage for branding, export, and consumer sales.
- A medal on the bottle encourages wine importers and their customers to try and buy.
- The competition is judged by wine buyers from around the world, ensuring that importers, distributors, and both the on- and off-trade sectors can rely on the scores and commercial evaluation.
- Every wine entered receives a score, and gold and silver medal winners receive a printed and digital diploma for global marketing purposes.
Organisation & Judging
Wine producers can enter one or more white wines by completing a registration form. Four samples of each wine must be submitted. Once received, the wines are grouped into flights based on style.
All wines are tasted blind by a panel of top-level wine buyers and sommeliers from around the world, all of whom have direct commercial buying responsibility. Judges reach a consensus, awarding Gold and Silver medals, and the top 50 scoring wines are selected for inclusion in 50 Greats for 2025.
The results are published on winepleasures.com and shared with a global database of 65,000 wine importers, distributors, and trade professionals. Additionally, they are promoted to media outlets and end consumers via Wine Pleasures’ social media channels, which have a combined following of 155,000.
How to enter
Enter your winery and wine details in the Registration Form by Friday 25 April 2025 Send your wine samples (4 for each ref) to arrive not later than Friday 2 May 2025.
Entry fee
€75 per label (+ VAT if applicable)
- 3 or more white wines 5% discount.
- 5 or more white wines 10% discount.
Promotion of your wine
Through a combination of direct marketing and social media, Wine Pleasures ensures the worldwide wine trade becomes aware of both the competition and the competition results. We also provide Gold and Silver medal winners with a certificate (pdf and printed) so the producer can share their win to their own channels of communication. Branded bottle stickers are also available for purchase once results are released and should they be required.
