Can Bonastre participated in the 2nd and 3rd editions of Wine Pleasures Workshop Buyer meets Spanish Cellar and during those two years I was able to see the progress of the construction of the Can Bonastre Wine Resort – it was hard to visualise the end product. In 2007 we took a group of International Tour Operators (FAM Trip) and stayed over night. All participants were very impressed, immedaitely requesting net rates for their clients – mainly for FITS. Wine Pleasures has also used Can Bonastre for wine tourists from the US – long, wide and firm beds guranteed just as the americans like it. Wines are good too. During the oficial presentation of the Anoia (Catalonia, Spain) wine route I stopped Roger, part of the family owning the Can Boanstre winery and resort to see how Can Bonastre and wine tourism in the Penedès was developing.
