Finally, a winery from the much sought after DO Ribera del Duero! Wine Importers attending the Wine Pleasures Workshop will be pleased!
Señorío de Bocos is engaged in the elaboration and ageing of wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero (Spain). The winery is located in Bocos de Duero (Valladolid), a small village in Castilla – Leon, on the Northwest of Spain. It is surrounded by vineyards and the beautiful scenery of “Cuco’s Valley”, which is the perfect destination for hiking, horseback riding and enjoying nature at its most.
Our vineyards ‘ main characteristic is the quality of the soil, which provides the grapes with special features regarding pigments and polyphenols. The main grape in this area is Tempranillo, but other varieties – such s abernet Sauvignon and Merlot – are grown in some of our plots, so that they can contribute to get the coupage we want for our wines.
Our production is small – around 120.000 bottles, 750 ml- and our range of products includes ROBLE, CRIANZA and RESERVA which are elaborated in the traditional way and aged in French and American oak barrels. Technical innovation goes hand in hand with tradition to create a new generation of wines, our signature wine: AUTOR DE BOCOS.
During the last years, Bodegas Senorio de Bocos has been awarded several international medals. This distinctions show how important quality is for us, and how we care about satisfying our client’s palate.
