Susanna Tocca owner of DOC DMC has developed “Winelands” based on her 20 years of experience in the industry. She will give an update on wine tourism in Portugal and explain how the enogastronomic roadbook “Winelands” reveals the most important DOC Areas of Portugal in a personalized yet self-sufficient way. This new product aims to promote Portugal’s best wine and wine lands to its people and abroad. The concept can be adapted in every other “wineland” be it Italy, France or Spain and opens cellar doors to individual travelers. Competition between the partners of the roadbook improves quality of wine tourism services and is an important marketing tool to promote the wines of the area.

Hello Doc-dmc team! Great to hear that the conference is such a huge success and look forward to developing our truly amazing product ” Winelands of Portugal” further with you!
Congratulations on the wonderful site. I was looking for more information on Winelands of Portugal. CTTC Bike tours runs in depth bicycle tours with a strong gastronomic and oenological component. One of my favourite bike trips takes us through Catalonia and your wines are excellent I must say. Portugal naturally has a lot to offer too – we are great fans of the Alentejo and Douro wine regions, which also offer great cycling terroir!
All the best!
You can further info of Winelands of Portugal at http://www.doc-dmc.com/index.php?idmenu=7 Could be ideal for a wine country bike tour. Just hand in the tickets and do the tasting.
You may be eligble to attend the Wine Tourism Workshop as a Travel Agent so you can meet wine tourism providers not only from Portugal but from the rest of Europe- The Workshop is followed by a Fam Trip. Info on this opportunity will shorly be on our site.
